with all your senses.
Fragrance speaks through Sens Design.
Welcome to my space.
This month, I want to take you even deeper into my philosophy. There’s a concept that perfectly aligns with my vision of beauty and well-being: Sens Design. Through Sens Design, fragrance reveals its true essence — a genuine dialogue, an extension of your way of perceiving the world.
Many people imagine fragrance as a blend of notes, accords, and rare raw materials. For me, it’s far more than that. It’s a sensory architecture, an immersive experience that transcends the sense of smell. In every single creation, my goal is not merely to offer you a perfume, but to craft an authentic perceptual scenario.
My olfactive creations are intended to be alive, because every time you spray one of them, you’re not performing a routine, mechanical gesture — think about it. You are triggering a memory, awakening a deep emotion, painting a vivid and personal image in your mind.
It’s as if every drop contains an intimate story, a hue that reflects your soul, or even a subtle tactile sensation that delicately embraces you. My most sincere desire is for my fragrances to become a direct bridge to your truest perceptions.

The Methodology of Sens Design Is Rooted in a Holistic Approach
The hallmark of Sens Design — the guiding principle behind every one of my creations — lies in its ability to engage all your senses. Fragrance is often solely associated with the olfactory sense. But for me, the kind of beauty that lingers, that stays with you, is the one built through a multisensory experience.
This is why I devote obsessive attention to every detail of my fragrances: from the complexity of the formulation to the most subtle element of the packaging.
This approach is intrinsically human-centered design — focused on how individuals perceive and interact with objects and environments. My objective is to create olfactive empathy, stimulate full sensory perception, and evoke a deeply multisensory response.
Let’s walk together, step by step, through how this unfolds for you:
- YOUR SIGHT is drawn to the essential, refined design of my bottles — the carefully chosen colors already hinting at the story of the fragrance, even before you smell it.
- YOUR TOUCH senses the quality of the glass, the discreet softness of the packaging, the ethereal sensation of the fragrance on your skin — like a second skin gently wrapping around you.
- YOUR SMELL, naturally, becomes immersed in the unique, harmonious notes I’ve created for you, unfolding gradually in a carefully curated aromatic journey.
- YOUR HEARING almost captures the subtle “psss” as the fragrance releases into the air — a discreet prelude to the transformation about to embrace you.
- And finally, YOUR EMOTIONAL RESPONSE: all of this converges to awaken emotions — joy, deep calm, renewed energy, or sudden inspiration.
My goal is not just for you to wear a fragrance. I want you to live a deep experience — one that connects you to yourself and your surroundings in a completely new way, through a complete and harmonious stimulation of the senses. I want you to rediscover the full potential of what your senses are capable of perceiving.
Practical Applications of Sens Design
Sens Design in perfumery is a flexible, adaptive concept, capable of shaping immersive and empathetic experiences across different contexts. My vision extends to various olfactive scenographies and practical implementations, demonstrating how fragrance can act as a transversal and powerful medium.
OLFACTIVE SCENOGRAPHY AND FRAGRANCE INTERIOR DESIGN
I collaborate with museums, hotels, wellness centers, showrooms, interior designers and architects to design sensory environments where fragrance becomes an integral part of the space — shaping atmosphere and influencing well-being.
A recent example is the olfactive installation I curated for the Museo Delta Antico, which safeguards the history of human settlements in the ancient Po Delta. I worked alongside archaeologists from the University of Ferrara and the museum team to design a unique sensory exhibition. The installation guides visitors through three key stages of the exhibit narrative, using three distinct fragrances: the delicacy of iris, the evocative freshness of a marine note, and the intensity of a spicy composition. These olfactive scenographies, designed to enrich the immersive experience, were later transformed into actual perfumes, now available at the museum’s bookshop.
CROSS-CONTEXTUAL FRAGRANCE
My ongoing research explores innovative applications such as microencapsulated fragrance for textiles, scented dryer sheets, or the fragranced cover of the book M’Illumino di Spezie. These illustrate how scent can enrich everyday life in unexpected ways.
FUNCTIONAL AND THERAPEUTIC FRAGRANCES
A field particularly close to my heart is functional perfumery. A key example of this synergy between research and education is the fragrance workshop I conducted at the Summer School of Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Rome, focusing on the application of essential oils and integrative medicine in the prevention and care of geriatric conditions. This emerging area explores how essential oils and complementary therapies can offer new perspectives on healthy aging.
Another concrete case is the TricoItalia Congress, where I participated as a speaker, highlighting the powerful link between cosmetic trichology and the world of fragrance. I emphasized how olfaction is the only sense directly connected to the limbic system, the brain’s center for emotion, memory, and instinct.
The common thread is unmistakably personalization and sensory centrality. Today’s consumers seek fragrances that are not only emotional, but also functional, responsible, and able to adapt to the time of day, mood, and individual needs.
Would you like to discover how a fragrance can become a pure, tangible sensation — a true extension of your being?
I’m waiting for you in my atelier — my world of aromas — where science meets your most intimate perceptions.
